The production includes three series of 3D printer with MJF technology and a Metal Jet 3D printer, allowing the production of parts with very different materials, ranging from thermopolymers to elastomers and metals.
One of the market leading sectors of HP 3D Printers is Healthcare: the possibility to produce patient-specific anatomical models, medical instruments and equipment with fine detail, and high mechanical performance can have a positive impact on several aspect of the surgical interventions or therapy.
With HP MJF 3D Printers it is possible to produce accurate, functional parts with intricate detail and create full-spectrum color parts with a voxel-control system in order to respond to a wide range of clinical and surgical requests and needs.
In 2020 3D4MED proudly became HP Multi jet fusion tech center for medicine. HP provided an HP MJF 800 3D Printer – working with Nylon PA12 material – to our lab with the aim of supporting the production of patient-specific anatomical model for surgical planning and training and the research on how MJF technology can support Healthcare.
HP MJF 550 can produce high complex and detailed models with high mechanical resistance and a full-chromatic scale; this offers the possibility to use the HP MJF technology for the production of anatomical models for all the clinical and surgical specialties – namely abdominal, vascular, thoracic and pediatric surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics and neurosurgery – for surgical planning, simulation and training purposes.
